NBA To Vote on Advertising On Uniforms

The NBA has been bouncing around the idea of placing ads on their jerseys for sometime now. With some of the largest sports franchises in the world opting to sell large areas of their uniforms for advertising space, The NBA is looking to get in on that money.

Adam Silver sent a memo to the NBA owners ahead of their meeting during All-Star weekend. The memo outlined the possibility of a vote to sell 2.5" x 2.5"  patches on their teams jerseys. If approved the league would look to implament this change for the 2017-2018 season, when the NBA's new apparel deal with Nike goes into effect.
