Michigan Falls to Ohio State

The Michigan Wolverines fell to the Ohio State Buckeyes on Tuesday night 76-66 in Columbus.

The Wolverines (19-8, 9-5 Big Ten) were coming off of a huge upset win over Purdue, and seemingly had momentum going into the game with the Buckeyes (17-10, 9-5 Big Ten).

However, the Wolverines could not carry that momentum and turn it into a win, struggling offensively shooting 39% from the field and shooting about 21% from three point range.

Michigan was led by Mark Donnal who scored 17 points. Zak Irvin scored 15, and Derrick Walton added 13 points.

The Wolverines, playing with a short bench had virtually no bench scoring. Four players combined for nine points off of the bench for Michigan, not exactly a recipe for success.

Wolverine guard Caris LeVert missed the game, he played the previous game against Purdue off of the bench.  Michigan is off until Sunday, when they will travel to Maryland to take on the sixth ranked Terrapins.
