Lions Handle "The Niners" 32-17

The Detroit Lions beat a weak San Francisco team Sunday afternoon 32-17. A great offensive showing was on display as Matt Stafford threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns. Calvin Johnson lit it up as well in what is speculated to be his last home game in Detroit. Johnson had 6 receptions for 77 yards and a touch down as the Lions pounced on their prey from the bay. A highlight in the game was a successful fake punt that allowed Isa Abdul- Quddus to convert on a fourth and one on the San Francisco 35 yard line, which set up a touchdown drive by Stafford and the Lions. The Lions take the practice field this week to start preparations for Sunday's season finale in Chicago against the rival Bears.
