American Luger Kate Hansen Gets Down To Beyonce Before Race

There are plenty of athletes who listen to music as they prepare themselves for competition. American Olympic luger Kate Hansen takes it up a level with the help of Beyonce.

NBC showed footage of Hansen warming up by the other lugers. Wearing pink headphones, the Burbank, Calif. native was dancing her a-- off. Seriously, this girl has moves.

She's having just as much fun with her Winter Olympics experience in general. "An absolute dream," Hansen told NBC of her time in Sochi so far. "I'm having so much fun, probably the most fun I've ever had sliding. I'm just stoked to be here."

Hansen also revealed that she listens to Mrs. Sean Carter to get her motivated to compete. "Strictly Beyonce," she answered when asked whose music she was bumping. "My girl B! She just gets me fierce and I get stoked. I've got good mojo on, so it's how I roll."

Apparently not everyone is a fan of Hansen's sweet dance moves. NBC luge commentator Duncan Kennedy said he would prefer that she do something more "sport-specific."

What a buzzkill.
